Build your own book of local business
We are expanding our self-employed sales partner network into major UK cities. You introduce local businesses to card payment and finance options, we handle the panel, the paperwork and the provider relationships. You are paid commission on what completes.
| Basis | Self-employed, commission based |
| Where | Your own city and surrounding area |
| Sectors | Retail, hospitality, trades, services |
| Products | Card payments and business finance |
| Experience | Helpful, not essential |
These are self-employed contractor opportunities, not employment. You would invoice Jos Finserv for commission earned and are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
You find the business, we do the rest
Most people who do well at this already know their local trading community. The product knowledge can be taught.
You introduce a local business
A shop, restaurant, salon or trade business that takes card payments or is looking at funding. You establish the interest and pass it to us.
We review the options across our panel
We compare what is available from our providers and lenders and put the suitable options in front of the customer.
We handle applications and onboarding
Paperwork, provider liaison and account setup sit with us. You are not expected to process applications or hold customer money.
You invoice commission on completion
Commission is paid on business that completes. The structure is set out in writing before you start so you know exactly what you are working to.
What we provide
Product training
How card processing pricing actually works, what separates one provider from another, and which finance products suit which situations.
A panel to sell from
You are not restricted to one provider. That makes the conversation easier and means fewer businesses are turned away.
Comparison tools
Our fee calculator works out what a business currently pays across a year, which gives you a concrete number to open with.
Marketing material
Branded material you can leave behind, plus the website to point people to when they want to check you are legitimate.
Application handling
We complete the provider paperwork and chase it through. You are not left managing underwriting queries.
A named contact
Someone at Jos Finserv you can call when a deal needs a decision rather than a general enquiry line.
Where we are recruiting
Select a city to see the role for that area. If your city is not listed, get in touch anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we are ready to cover it.

Role details
Jos Finserv Ltd is expanding its UK sales network and is looking for motivated Field Sales Representatives to introduce our business services to UK businesses. This is a self-employed, commission based opportunity for people who want flexibility, uncapped earning potential and the chance to build their own customer portfolio. You work directly with business owners and decision makers, understand what they need, and introduce suitable options available through the Jos Finserv provider and lender network. We work with multiple providers rather than representing a single product or company, so the options can be matched to the customer rather than the other way round. Depending on the customer and their eligibility you can introduce businesses to card payment and processing solutions, card terminals and merchant services, business finance and working capital, business loans, and asset and equipment finance. Your earnings are linked directly to your own sales performance and are paid in accordance with the Jos Finserv commission terms and the relevant provider or lender arrangements. As your portfolio grows there may be opportunities for ongoing commission where it applies. There is no fixed salary and earnings are not guaranteed.

Straight answers
Is this employment or self-employment?
Self-employment. You would operate as an independent contractor, invoice Jos Finserv for commission earned, and be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance. This is not a salaried position and there is no guaranteed income.
How is commission calculated?
Commission is paid on business that completes, and the structure is set out in writing before you begin. We will go through the figures with you at interview rather than publishing a headline number that may not apply to your situation.
Do I need experience in payments or finance?
It helps but it is not essential. Product training is provided. What matters more is that you are comfortable approaching local business owners and that you already understand your local trading community.
Can I do this alongside other work?
Yes. As a self-employed contractor you are free to work with other clients and to organise your own time, provided there is no direct conflict of interest.
What are the costs to me?
There is no joining fee and we do not sell training packages. You would cover your own travel and running costs, as you would in any self-employed arrangement.
My city is not listed. Can I still apply?
Yes. Email us with your city and background. We will tell you plainly whether we are in a position to support that area yet rather than leaving you waiting.
Not sure if it suits you?
Call and ask. A ten minute conversation will tell you more than any advert, and we would rather you decide it is not for you now than in three months.
