A narrower focus, by choice
Jos Finserv previously offered six service lines covering energy, insurance, IT, connectivity, digital marketing and finance. We were competent across most of them and genuinely strong in one, so we withdrew from the rest.
What we actually do
We help UK businesses compare card payment arrangements and explore business finance, working across a panel of providers and lenders rather than representing any single one.
A shop owner in Lincoln or a takeaway in Cardiff should not still be on an uncompetitive processing rate simply because nobody has reviewed it in five years. Equally, when equipment fails in November, the business should not be waiting three weeks to find out whether funding is even a possibility.
The two subjects are closely related. How a business takes payment shapes what finance is appropriate, and the way it is funded affects how it trades. Reviewing them together produces better decisions than treating them separately.

Four things we hold to
We say when you should stay where you are
If your existing arrangement is more competitive than anything we could put forward, we tell you and leave it there. It costs us that piece of business and it is the reason people come back to us.
We are open about who pays us
The provider or lender pays us a commission. There is no charge to your business for the introduction. You should know that before deciding anything rather than afterwards. Where we supply a product directly rather than broker it, such as Square point of sale, we say so on the page you are reading, because that is a different commercial relationship and you should know which one you are in.
Figures, not brochures
We work out what your current arrangement costs across a year and show you the arithmetic. Where the difference is marginal, we say so.
We never hold your money
Your merchant account is held directly with the payment provider and any finance agreement is between your business and the lender. We arrange the introduction and nothing passes through us.

A short call is usually enough
Your monthly card turnover and your current provider are enough for us to say whether a review is worth your time.
